I wouldn’t say I’m a big fan of the Super Bowl, in fact I would have to go out and say that I’m totally not and I didn’t even watch the game (nor did I even know it was Super Bowl Weekend this last Sunday) with that being said the one thing I generally DO like about the Super Bowl are the funny ads they play.
Past Super Bowls I would have watched them simply for that, but in the last few years you simply can find them online at YouTube. So you might guess, last night I found out Super Bowl was going on. I watched a few ads and some trainers that played.. the one that cough my eye was the one for The Avengers. Continue Reading;
Today is the first of what I hope to be a weekly deal, basically it’s called Call to Blog, where I basically feature a guest post or I’ll write-up something I haven’t really talked about personally for one reason or the other. Basically dig down into a topic, and that is today, leaving Guilds and moving servers. That is why today’s first entry into what I hope to be many of Call to Blog is called Ravencrest.
What is Ravencrest you question? Well it’s a World of Warcraft server, in the US and was the very first server I ever started on. I started playing back in BC days, not long after the release, about a month or so.. it was October. Anyways, my very first toon was a Night Elf Druid named Staraptor (a pokemon name yes) and I level to maybe over that 4 months I played to level 16. This tells you how hard the game was back then mind you. Continue Reading;
As I’ve talked about before with another podcast called Call To Auction, which I review not too long ago in fact. I must re-track a statement I made in that post stating that there where no other WoW Gold making podcasts out there. Well just as I made the post about a day after it was published, I found out about another pod cast called Power Word Gold.
So as you may guess, I found the website, which you can visit here, I must say not the greatest of looking websites but this isn’t about the web site design, this is about the podcast. Now at the time of writing this the pod cast has been out a few days and I’ve listen to it about 4 times already. One of the things I really enjoy doing is listening to WoW related content while I’m playing, as such either when I’m making gold myself or simply just leveling or farming. Continue Reading;
I thought about online chat and IRC room for a long time, I even at one point was thinking about setting up a vent server (which I had done for a time) for fans to chat it up. But when you think about the time and money it requires to set up a vent server for online chat form a website point of view, the cost would be way too high. That is if I had my own personal server, which I don’t.
There really was a moment in time when I had to think about it, think about what was gonna be best for what I wanted to have. The main goal of the forums was to build a community of people who enjoy what I bring them, content wise. That over time just didn’t seem to work. Continue Reading;
Well I suppose it’s not really a shock when I think about it, reading over on MMO Champion today I saw a news post from today, that we wont be getting BlizzCon in 2012, which sort of sucks. I recall last year October having this discussion with my brother about going and we both decided that this year we would go.
I guess the reason is you know this whole ’2012′ ordeal, the end of the world. The truth about it is simply a matter if I believe that the world will come to an end in December of this year. Continue Reading;
To be blunt with you, I’m not really a big fan of the ‘found footage pseudo-documentaries’ style movies, there are a few that I generally did enjoy for what they where, for example Paranormal Activity 3 (I had seen the first 2 but didn’t feel the need to write a review seeing as they where way old now). But even as bad as Paranormal Activity 3 was for that film series, The Devil Insider.. made me wish the devil was inside me, so that I could rip my eyes out.
Seriously, the weakest part of the story is that, there is no story. Here we have this young woman Isabella Rossi (Fernanda Andrade), who at the start of the movie we basically learn that her mother (Suzan Crowley) murdered three people. The two priests and the nun were at her house to perform an exorcism. As you can guess, from this point on and for the whole movie, we follow Isabella on a quest to find out why her mother killed three people. Continue Reading;
